In 2011, Cabaret Grey debuted on the Shadow Places compilation of Polish dark independent music. A lot of positive feedback encouraged the musicians to record more songs which resulted in cooperation with Alexey Nightchild A. Nikitchenko (The Nightchild, Sociophobia) who recorded bass guitar and mastered all tracks for the first EP "Stirring". Self-released, in an unusual origami box with artwork designed by musicians was limited to 100 hand numbered copies and sold out in under two months after the premiere (07/11/2011), which shows very good response and demand for this type of music.

Ahhh! 🖤 This can't be compared to anything but... itself. Based on ancient Greek mythology of Hades/hell, the album has a timelessly nostalgic yet now-here feel. Guitar passages over synthesisers like scatterings of ice crystals over deep woods. The goddess emerging from Acheront fog on the cover.
