about

In 2011, Cabaret Grey debuted on the Shadow Places compilation of Polish dark independent music. A lot of positive feedback encouraged the musicians to record more songs which resulted in cooperation with Alexey Nightchild A. Nikitchenko (The Nightchild, Sociophobia) who recorded bass guitar and mastered all tracks for the first EP "Stirring". Self-released, in an unusual origami box with artwork designed by musicians was limited to 100 hand numbered copies and sold out in under two months after the premiere (07/11/2011), which shows very good response and demand for this type of music.

about

The Cabaret Grey project was established in the spring of 2010 in Legnica, Poland. Musical influences are mainly sounds from ... more the 1980’s, but the band is not confined to underground music from this era and often draws on ideas inspired by more contemporary music or even reaches further back. Some compositions are bursting with punk energy, while others are saturated with coldwave chill. less

Track Name: Grey Lights
grey lights, grey lights
lighting in the streets
their silent lovers
adorning them with rays only
grey as tears
sleeping at night
the head has fallen
turn in this sleep and feel
cold

cold nights
grey lights
all stars shine

grey lights
grey lights
grey lights

cold night, grey light is a matter of time
cold night, grey light is a matter of time
cold night, grey light is a matter of time

lighting in the streets
their silent lovers
adorning them with rays only
grey as tears
sleeping at night
the head has fallen
he turns in this sleep and feels
cold

cold nights
grey lights
all stars shine
so high

grey lights, grey lights
